As senior manager for Blum and Clark, Ms. Crippen is responsible for client relations, review of tax and accounting projects, peer review, and mentoring of staff.  She has served as CFO and Director of Finance for large privately held companies.  She began her enthusiasm for volunteer work from a very young age, continuing into adult hood working with the recreational therapy departments at Children's Hospital's in San Diego and Stanford.  She is a member of the AICPA and the California State Society of CPA's.

Ms. Kwasigroch earned her BA in Sociology from San Diego State and has over 20 years experience in banking. As a native San Diegan, she currently resides in Mission Valley and volunteers for many organizations including, Junior Achievement, Rachel’s House, the San Diego Housing Commission, Surf Rider Foundation and San Diego Coastal Keeper. In addition to serving on Home Start’s board she also serves on the board of Athletes for Education.

Mr. Lee earned his BS degree in Medical Technology from the University of Oklahoma and has over 25 years experience in the health industry focused on project management, customer service, consulting and training.

Mr. Davis has a B.A. in English and Communication Studies (1986)  with a Masters in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego (2008) His community and professional associations include.  He is a 2003 LEAD Graduate. Paul has been active in community relations with Special Delivery San Diego, Children’s Hospital, YMCA Youth and Family Services, among others.

Amy Keefe

Amy was born and raised in Vista, CA and attended Chico State College where she graduated in 1998 with a degree in Business Finance. Amy currently is a sales executive with Cox Communications and says she “is very proud to be part of an organization that is so involved in the community”. She now lives in Santee with her husband, three daughters and their dog Atticus. Amy says she joined the Home Start Board to “fulfill my love for children and to help families give their children the chance they deserve in life”. 

Dalyce McClintock is Co-Owner, with her husband Kevin, of Goldfield Stage Charters.  Goldfield Stage is a family owned premier charter bus company that has provided southern California with dependable charter bus service for over 25 years. They have built their business around the principles of hard work, giving back, providing value and taking excellent care of their customers.   Dalyce serves on several committees and boards in the Hospitality and Business communities.  Her desire to serve the community has led her to volunteer with many projects including teaching parenting education classes, providing lay marriage counseling, and leading Bible Studies.   Dalyce is especially passionate about strengthening families and nurturing children and shares this dedication through service with the Home Start Board of Directors.

Ms. Hurd has over 20 years of banking experience with Union Bank.  She has volunteered with several San Diego organizations including: HOPE CDC, San Diego High and All Congregations Together just to name a few.  Lynette lives in San Diego with her three children and believes in setting an example for them to always give back to the communities where we live, work, and play.  As a member of the Board of Directors for Home Start, she is proud to be a part of an organization that not only walks the walk and talks the talk about issues that affect our children, but actually rolls up its sleeves to get things done.

Ms. Knipe has a BA in Psychology and Business from the University of San Diego. She has been a client executive with Barney & Barney since 2003 and specializes in working with companies on their risk management programs.  Her passion for children has led her to be a volunteer for many organizations that focus on the well being of children. 

Mr. Dettman, a Wisconsin native, graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2000 and began his career working in the Marketing Department for Clear Channel Radio in Minneapolis.  In 2004, he moved to Phoenix where he accepted a position with Jobing.com (a local job board whose mission is to connect local employers to local job seekers).  During his time at Jobing, he received a MBA from Arizona State University (WP Carey School of Business).  In August of 2010, Mr. Dettman was promoted and transferred to run the Jobing San Diego office.

Mr. Drake, an Oklahoma native, is a United States Navy Veteran.  He holds a B.S. in Information Systems and received his Masters in Project Management from Boston University.  Mr. Drake has worked in several systems engineering and program management positions in the defense industry.  He is currently employed as a program manager with Qualcomm.  Brett is proud to be helping Home Start in its mission of strengthening families through its various programs and in helping to make San Diego a better place to live.

Jennifer Personette

Ms. Personette received her degree in Marketing from Georgia Southern University. Marketing and advertising has taken her to several award-winning agencies across the country. Throughout her advertising career, Jennifer has branded and strategized campaigns for more than 30 non-profit organizations. With Home Start, Jennifer looks forward to making San Diego a better, happier place for children and families.
